Is it just me that find comments like "first" really really really really annoying?
In some cases I suppose being first can be.. nice, but is it that important to state that you were 'first'?
I should say, that sometimes, I would like to be second. I am not good at sports (obviously) since I don't really care about winning. I don't enjoy failing.. does anyone?.. but neither would I enjoy being the first or the best or the fastest. I have other ways to stand out in a crowd.
And since I always seem to end up with complete n00bs (always wanted to use that word :) hah) and therefore have to educate them, it would be so indescribably much less work to be 'second'.
Or is it just me?
